Hi All! I'm Bethany. I"m a stay at home, homeschooling, mama of 2 crazy but really good kids who love rats as much as me.
I'm dyslexic so please forgive my spelling errors. I try to spell check but we know how that works out. Dyslexia also makes me use phrasing incorrectly quite often among other random things. SO please know I mean well just need some grace. (Don't we all)
I'm a bit obsessed with rats and their care, and jumped back in a year and some change ago when our guinea pig passed away. My kids were devastated to loose Hoshi so when researching the best pets for kids, Rats came up again and again at the top of the list. Less than 4 days after adopting our first 3 boys(Nibbles, Blue and George) we moved from our home of 11 years in SC to Cumming GA. And our rats have been the best friends we had as we transitioned and made human ones. My kids are very attached to their rats and tell anyone who will listen about them and their antics.
I'm passionate about learning so I read and watch videos from all over the world to try to give my rats the best life possible. Since then we've added 2 more rats bringing our current total up to 5. I want to add more eventually but hubs isn't ready yet.
I truly believe God has blessed us with these sweet boys, and that they are EXACTLY the rats we needed in our lives. And I think they needed us too.
In my "spare" time I either bake/cook, Sew, or do other crafty things. I love making new clothing for my family that fits our bodies, hammocks and toys for the rats, And random other stuff if I have the skills or time.
My other passion is healthy eating and lifestyles. We are mostly refined sugar free, and gluten free. I use lots of natural methods to heal our bodies When needed and do lots of natural things to keep us healthy in general.
I'm often on my phone so stuff may be weird due to that too.
Um I *THINK* that's it for now. See what I mean about rambling? lol
